A fundamental philosophy of the Blue Mountains Concert Band Inc is that people of all levels of ability are welcome.

BMCB meets this part of its charter through the provision of rehearsal, performance and developmental opportunities to enthusiastic concert band musicians of all levels of experience in a friendly and social environment. BMCB has regular annual commitments which support local Anzac commemorations and Christmas celebrations, as well as providing entertainment at other community events.
