Karingal Workshop and Concert

Saturday Sounds was a great success on Saturday 24th October. Three community bands joined together for a workshop and performance day. Lane Cove’s Karingal Concert Band hosted the day in their beautiful Waterview Community Centre framed by parklands, a community garden and warm sunshine. The local brush turkey seemed to also enjoy the music! Blue Mountains Concert Band felt very welcome and caught up with friends made in 2025 after hosting  a similar workshop. This year we were joined by Northside Concert Band which added to the much larger combined band of over 60 instrumentalists performing two pieces “The Great Locomotive Chase” and “Between the Lines” in a great finish to a great day.
